Privacy Policy

Awesome Jellyfish Productions ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our mobile applications (collectively, the "Apps") and our website.

1. Types of Data We Collect

We design our Apps to operate with a focus on data minimization. The types of data we may collect depend on the App you are using:

  • Device Information: We may collect basic diagnostic, performance, and usage data, including device model, operating system version, crash logs, and unique device identifiers to ensure app stability.
  • Personal Data: We do not actively request or store personal identifying data (such as names or physical addresses) unless you voluntarily provide it when contacting us for support.
  • User Account Details: If an App integrates cloud synchronization features, we collect details related to authentication (such as email addresses and user IDs).

2. Google OAuth Scope Utilization

Some of our mobile applications (such as Skoffel and BreinBlokkies) utilize Google Sign-In and Google OAuth verification services to manage user authentication and save progress in the cloud. We explicitly request the following OAuth scopes:

  • openid / profile / email: These basic profile scopes allow us to securely authenticate your identity, establish your unique AJP account profile, and display your profile picture or username inside the App's user interface.
  • drive.appdata (Google Drive Application Data Folder): This restricted scope allows the App to save and restore your game states, preferences, and progress directly into a private, hidden folder in your own Google Drive. We only write configuration data within this dedicated app folder, and we have absolutely no access to any other files in your Google Drive account.

Your login tokens and credentials are encrypted and stored locally on your device's secure storage system (Keytar / Keychain) and are transmitted directly and securely to Google servers.

3. Third-Party Data-Sharing & Services

To support our development, provide ad monetization, and track crash statistics, we integrate specific third-party SDKs within our Apps:

  • Ad Networks (Google AdMob / Unity Ads): These networks may collect anonymous advertising identifiers (such as IDFA on iOS or AAID on Android) to deliver personalized or non-personalized advertisements within our Apps.
  • Analytics & Diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics): We collect aggregated, non-personally identifiable crash records to debug code and optimize runtime performance across multiple device variants.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to external third parties.

4. Data Retention Thresholds & Account Deletion

We retain your data only for as long as is necessary to provide the services described:

  • Diagnostic Data: Automated crash logs are retained by our third-party provider (Firebase Crashlytics) for up to 90 days, after which they are deleted.
  • Account Data: If you have registered an account to synchronize app progress, we retain your email address and profile identifiers for the active lifetime of your account.

Account Deletion & Data Erasure Instructions

You have the absolute right to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data. To trigger this, please execute one of the following methods:

  1. In-App Deletion: Navigate to the settings panel of any registered App, select "Account," and tap "Delete Account." This will instantly purge your authentication details and saved progress from our databases.
  2. Email Request: Send an explicit email request to awesomejellyfishproductions@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will manually delete all data associated with your email address within seven (7) business days.

5. Compliance and Data Security

We implement standard physical, technical, and administrative security configurations to guard against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your information. We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA mandates regarding mobile application safety and user choice.
